Update your records with AI

Already have your records in Club Record and want to apply a batch of changes — a meet’s worth of new records, corrections, or broken records? Export what you have, let any AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) apply the changes, and re-import. Your record history is preserved: when a faster time comes in, the old record is kept as history, not deleted.

Keep a backup before you make changes

Export your records first and save that file somewhere safe. If an update goes wrong, re-importing your backup restores the previous values. Re-importing never deletes records, so your history is always safe — but if a bad edit addedrows you didn’t want, you may need to remove those few by hand.

Go to Dashboard → Records and click Export CSV. Keep this file as your backup.

Paste it into your AI assistant, followed by the exported CSV and your new results.
The AI returns the updated CSV. Save it as a .csv file.
Re-import it via Bulk Upload → Combined CSV, review the preview, and confirm.

You are helping a swim club update their records CSV for Club Record (clubrecord.ca).

Below is my current records export, followed by the new results I want to apply. Return the updated CSV following these rules:

1. This CSV is a full export of a swim club's records. Each row is one record. The leading columns identify the record's list and its history; the rest are the record's data.
2. Output ONLY CSV: the exact same header row, then every original row, plus any rows you add. No commentary, no markdown code fences.
3. Header row, exactly: List Title,Course,Gender,Record Type,List Slug,Record ID,Is Current,Superseded By,Event,AgeGroup,Time,Swimmer,Name2,Name3,Name4,Club,Province,Date,Location,is_World_Record,is_National,is_Current_National,is_Provincial,is_Current_Provincial,is_Split,is_RelaySplit,is_New,Splits
4. NEVER delete a row. Keep every existing row.
5. For every existing row, do NOT change these columns: List Title, Course, Gender, Record Type, List Slug, Record ID, Is Current, Superseded By. Leave them exactly as they are — they link each row to its record and its history.
6. You MAY correct a record's data on its existing row (Time, Swimmer, Name2-Name4, AgeGroup, Club, Province, Date, Location, the is_* flags, Splits). Correcting a time in place overwrites the old time and keeps no history.
7. To record a NEW or broken record (someone swam faster), ADD a new row: copy List Title, Course, Gender, Record Type, and List Slug from another row in the SAME list; leave Record ID blank; put x in Is Current; leave Superseded By blank. On import, a faster time in the same Event + AgeGroup automatically supersedes the old record and keeps it as history.
8. Time format: MM:SS.hh for one minute or more (e.g. 1:02.34), SS.hh for under a minute (e.g. 24.56). Never write minutes as a decimal.
9. Date format: YYYY, YYYY-MM, or YYYY-MM-DD. If unknown, leave it blank.
10. Flag columns (the is_* columns): put a lowercase x when true, otherwise leave the cell blank.
